Changes at the Clinic This August

Keeping naturopathic medicine accessible has always been part of how I practice. This August brings a few changes to the clinic — here’s what’s new and why.

New rates, effective August 16, 2026

Provincial guidelines now recommend naturopaths work at a fee of $250+/hour, and after ten years of clinical practice, I’m adjusting my rates to reflect that:

  • Initial consult (60 min): $265 (currently $225)
  • Follow-up (30 min): $140 (currently $120)
  • Follow-up (15 min): $85 (currently $75)

Seniors 60+ receive 10% off the 60-minute initial consult. Children 12 and under receive 10% off the 30-minute follow-up, and have their own pro-rated 45-minute initial consult rate. Current rates stay in effect for any appointment booked before August 14, 2026. Full details on the Appointments page.

Access Naturopathic appointments

I’ve always offered a 15-minute appointment — something very few NDs do — and called it my “Access Naturopathic” rate. I’m now formalizing a small number of these spots each month for people without extended health benefits who find regular fees out of reach. No proof needed — just email the clinic to request one.

  • 2 Access Rate new-patient appointments per month: $185
  • 2 Access Rate follow-up appointments (30 min) per week: $90

Spots are limited and allocated first-come, by email request only. Because of limited availability, some follow-ups may land at 2 months rather than the usual 1 — but refills can be requested any time, or given in 2-month quantities in office.

Summer scheduling

For select weeks this summer, I’ll be doing online appointments only. If you’re having trouble finding an in-person follow-up during those weeks, try booking online instead via the Appointments page. Mersedez, our office administrator, will still be in the clinic for medicine pickup, refills, and anything else you need in person.

Online courses — launching soon

The topics I talk about most in appointments are becoming self-paced online courses, priced so that most people can afford them. First up:

  • The Hormone Triangle — a 30-minute lesson on how cortisol, blood sugar, and reproductive hormones pull against each other, and why your body can’t run from a tiger and heal at the same time. It’s the foundation of almost everything I talk about in clinic.
  • Cycle Tracking — how to read your own cycle as a source of information: what the phases mean and how to use that data day to day. Essential for fertility care, and useful for anyone working on PMS, perimenopause, or other ovarian hormone patterns.

More info at drkmudry.com/courses, where you can also find my e-book, Plant Nutrients for Every Eater.

A new refill system is coming soon too — more details shortly.
